After many days pass with no sign of your quarry, you crave a bath and a proper bed. Packing your things, you invite the stranger to accompany you back to the city. The look that crosses his face is one of excited wonder, whilst also conveying an underlying suspicion, and for a moment, you suspect fear. However, he agrees. On the way down the mountain, you are surprised at how much the stranger struggles in the wilderness. This man has been hunting and feeding you for a week now, and yet he behaves like a city noble. As you make your way into the city walls, vouching for the stranger at the gate, you make your way to the market square...
